You might have noticed that it has become a little quiet around here. I vowed to catch up on my humungous backlog and instead I just stopped posting altogether. The reason is quickly summed up: I was just way too busy shooting, developing, printing and travelling. And even now that I am back from my most recent trip to Germany I’m inundated with rolls and rolls of film to develop. I’m not even exaggerating, my count of undeveloped rolls actually passed the magical 100 at one point. Garry Winogrand would be very proud of me indeed.
The last few days I have reduced that insane number to an only slightly more moderate count of 87 undeveloped rolls. I also printed a few pictures in the darkroom and spent a lot of time listening to music while editing scans from May, the month in which I only shot low ISO. I don’t think I will finish with any of it any time soon, but that’s perfectly fine with me. I have no shortage of things to show you, so having a few rolls left to fill dreary winter days isn’t such a bad prospect. And yes, I know that it’s summer now, but let me just remind you that I have eightyseven undeveloped rolls left! Believe me, it will take a while.
And contrary to the great spirit of dragging things out indefinitely, let me use the opportunity to finally post the last pictures from last year. After all it’s not even August and I obviously expect applause for finishing these before this year is over. The pictures were taken in November and December while I was feeling quite off. However, I hope you enjoy them nonetheless. Don’t forget to grab a hot beverage and some cinnamon cookies to accompany this very late Christmas offering.
All pictures taken with: Leica M6, Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.
ARF+ 400 / HC-110 dil B.
Occasionally it gets misty in the streets closest to the sea.
Printed this in the darkroom and it turned out even nicer.

Let me show you my fist …!
Funky self-portrait, eh?
I like his shadow!
Yep, that’s goofy. And it’s also as close as I can get with the Leica.
Next time, January pictures including experiments with the Nokton 50mm f/1.1!
I am tuned to see those undeveloped photos. I have similar feelings now about insufficient time…. many untouched folders in my computer and memory cards…
Nice to see you back, Lilly.
