Today I got a rather large package and couldn’t quite imagine what would warrant the size of it. I hadn’t ordered anything of that shape or size: Well, the content was a barely 2cm big 1.35x viewfinder magnifier for use with my Nokton. The packaging was slightly overkill and it felt like one of those joke packages. The magnifier seems like a good purchase though and focussing with it feels like less guesswork. With f/1.1 focussing accurately can be a real challenge and this will make things easier. The only problem is that of course the weather is too annoying now to actually try it properly. After a couple of days of great weather on our trip we’re back in the usual rainy season back home. Did I mention that I’m not a winter person? I can sort of live with snow, because it can be rather photogenic, but rain is just the most infuriating thing ever. I guess it’s time to continue with the processing and dream of summer. Good that I’m posting pictures of warmer days.
All pictures taken with: Leica M6, Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.

On a walk in the neighbourhood.
Excuse the phone. I really liked the composition with the pattern on the floor and he wouldn’t go away although I waited like 5 minutes. Smart phones are the scourge of contemporary street photography.
Nice glasses.
Fuji reds always pop like crazy.
Holding on in fear of earth quakes?
Removing posters in good company.
Obviously a hip shot.
Temperamental fountain! My favourite of this roll.
Same dog.
I went into the Botanical Gardens. Great idea …! I thought my allergies wouldn’t bother me since I didn’t have any issues throughout the whole time over there. Apparently the Botanical gardens were a bit too much after all. After roughly 2 minutes I could barely see anything from all the sneezing and eye watering. It was a shame since it’s quite a nice park.
The place was full of cats.
Cat panning shot.
Difficult to resist such shots.
The light was great.
Oh, how I love my Zeiss lens!
Self-portrait with carnivorous plants. I escaped after this one to finally stop sneezing.
Smart phones – the reason no one looks up in the street these days.
Nice photos.
Thank you 🙂 As they say … “Only dumb people need smart phones” 😉
