I must say that I’m not a huge fan of this Kodak Farbwelt 400 stuff. The shadows tend to get very blue/magenta when running it through the Pakon and I don’t feel like colour correcting every single shot. Maybe this batch wasn’t stored correctly or went through an x-ray one too many times. I got it at a quite cheap price here in Spain and it used to be sold on the German market a while back. I still have some 10 rolls of this stuff left, but I probably won’t be buying it again. It does alright in bright sunshine, but then it actually makes a little more sense to shoot Kodak Gold 200, which I like more anyway. I will have to try some Kodak Ultramax 400, which is supposedly the same film stock – and see whether just this particular batch has issues. Normally it should be one of the films the Pakon handles particularly well.
By the way, there is a first for everything: Today one of the bulk-loaded HP5+ rolls tore when loading and I didn’t notice, although I always check film transport normally. I shot an unusually long ghost roll into oblivion. Oh well. Luckily I also had my Rollei with some Rollei CR200 and the walk wasn’t a complete waste.
All shots taken with: Leica M6 + Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.
Kodak Farbwelt 400 developed in Fuji Hunt C41 Kit.

I wonder how long it took the kid to learn how to spin it on his hand!
