tango of course

The other day I must have mentioned how many rolls I still had to develop. Well, I forgot to figure in the 120, so there are 10 rolls more than I thought! This means I will still have to develop 47 rolls of colour film in total. Sounds like quite a bit of work, doesn’t it? Well, I hope to catch up in about a month, provided that I shoot less than I develop. After I finish with those rolls I will still have 2 litres of colour chemicals, a litre of Fuji and a litre of Tetenal. This means that there are about 36 rolls of colour waiting to be shot. All very strange considering that until half a year ago I didn’t shoot any colour at all!

On a related note, another couple of electronics bits and pieces arrived today and I will probably be able to start putting together my temperature controlled water bath soon. With the help of the tempering bath I hope I will have the confidence to develop some E6 film when I’m through with my gazillion rolls of C41. All my attempts with C41 were only meant as preparation for E6, so I’m very much looking forward to taking the next step.

Where else can you randomly walk into a street festival and a tango orchestra is playing?

Well, photographing cops is difficult/dangerous business and I don’t do it often.

Would you believe that we didn’t go in? I almost can’t believe it myself!

One of those times that I was grateful for having colour film in the camera.

Nope, I don’t know what’s going on either. This was actually taken from a bus. Pretty cool that often you can open a window at eye level over there.

It was getting dark earlier than expected so this has a bit of motion blur. I know, sharpness is overrated, but most of the time I still shoot at 1/500 or 1/250.

The colours surprised me a little, since this was already the blue hour. I won’t argue with Pakon colour though, looks good to me!
