This city is all about timing. Not only the season is essential for good street pictures, but also the time of day. Sometimes you really need to walk a lot to see something interesting and other times it’s so crowded that things happen the whole time. I’m slowly starting to figure out the time table and it seems that a little after the siesta people start to come out onto the streets. Today I timed it right and went just at the perfect time. I actually finished 4 rolls – one of which was the roll I just couldn’t finish yesterday! Among the lot was also a black and white roll taken with the Rollei. It seems I’m getting more used to it now – about time after 50 rolls! Oh, and did I mention that I already put my first 100 rolls through my Leica? That went fast! In my camera these days is the lovely Double-X that my friend Almut got me from the US. It’s such lovely stuff! Shame it’s so expensive in Europe or it could well become my favourite film.

As for today’s pictures: I was getting a bit bored with dressed up people so I decided to throw in some regular street stuff too. These were taken just before out trip to Buenos Aires.
