bunny alarm

I find public transport in this city highly confusing. The grid outline of the city doesn’t help and none of the stops are announced. You have to know pretty exactly where you’re going to tell the bus driver when you get on and you also have to know roughly where you are at all times or you miss the stop to get off. And on top of things the buses get really crammed and it just takes ages sometimes because the city is so big! I guess it’s understandable that I decided to walk to the botanical gardens today instead of taking the bus, since I was on my own. It was only 10 blocks anyway and I had my Leica, so I was happy walking. After 3 rolls and lots of sneezing in the botanical gardens – who would have thought I’d be allergic to something on the other side of the world – I returned home without getting lost or being run over (a real risk around here)! I’d call that a successful afternoon!

We only have a few more days left in the city and 43 rolls have been shot so far. This means I still have about 10 rolls left for roughly 4 days. Should work out just fine!
