After the day started at a time that I consider the middle of the night I’m definitely in need of some rest. Travelling always makes me tired. However, I already managed to prepare my computer a little bit for the impending Pakon installation. The software for this scanner only runs on Windows XP, so I will have to run it in a virtual machine and as far as I have read this can be rather tricky. And of course virtual machines also need some space, so I re-organised my digital pictures to find some of that too. And since I was dealing with digital stuff, I might as well show you some more digital shots from last year today. However, tomorrow I will try to get an adapter for the power supply of the Pakon which only has a US plug and then I can finally try to test this baby! I’m really curious now and it’s about time, because I don’t really have many scans left.
On a completely unrelated note: Some of my paperwork came through today and I’m now officially accepted for the PhD! I’ve been working towards this for a very long time and for quite a while thought that it would never happen, so it feels like a major achievement. Now the real work starts!
All pictures taken with: Olympus Pen E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 ASPH.
Clearly bored!
Watering the corners … as one does.
I used to do that too.
Don’t ask me …!
Wooden gun …!
That’s just weird …
