The other day I made a little mistake and scanned some medium format in 2400 dpi. Sure, the quality is great and you get seemingly infinite zoom, but boy does it take long to edit files of 150 MB! Yesterday I was too tired to face any of that and decided that I deserve a break. After all, I had a few very busy weeks and I have kept up my developing, scanning, editing and posting through all of it. So, in the end all I did yesterday was to watch silly series – most of it in Spanish – and spent the whole day relaxing.

Today I show you the roll of 120 I promised you the other day. I shot it before travelling for Christmas last year and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Finally I found a good recipe for Tri-X and now I get reliable results every time. However, I only have 1 roll of medium format Tri-X left and decided to go with Rollei RPX 400 again for the next batch of 120 bw. Although I’m still testing different emulsions I know that I can always rely on my RPX 400 / Caffenol-CL combination.

All pictures taken with: Rolleicord V, Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 75mm f/3.5.
Tri-X, semi-stand in Caffenol-CL, 35min.
