Today my post is a little late, because we were still out shooting until just now. It’s the fiesta of San Juan and that’s a perfect opportunity to take pictures of people jumping over bonfires. According to local superstition jumping over a bonfire three times on San Juan night will purify you and burn away all your problems. Of course I only figured that one out after the fact and didn’t jump. Probably better, since I tend to be a bit clumsy and probably would have hurt myself. No pictures yet of these proceedings, but I’ll probably post some at some point. Whether this will happen sooner or later depends on whether any of my Zorki pictures came out. I had no clue – in this light the rangefinder was useless and I wasn’t sure about the settings either. I’ll develop the roll tomorrow and see whether I had any luck. I’m still about three weeks behind on my digital pictures, so you know when this lot was taken and also when you can expect the digital pictures.
All pictures taken with: Olympus Pen E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 ASPH.
