igueldo

These pictures were taken on my birthday when we went up to Igueldo. From up there the view is just amazing and I shot two rolls of film. This is just one of them, since I don’t want to risk editing pictures with the fan of my computer sounding as it does.

All pictures taken with: Zorki 4K and Jupiter 12 35mm f/2.8.
Kentmere 400 developed in Tetenal Ultrafin 1:20, 16min.

Still in the neighbourhood Gros.

Grim Basque facial expressions. The last couple of rolls I seem to have had light leaks at the start of the roll. Since I travelled with these rolls twice I don’t know whether it’s the camera or the film.

Now, I’d call that a view!

There is a little amusement park up there which has strange rides like this mysterious water ride.

I guess the girls wanted either sweets or money for a ride.

A slide with a view.

They wanted to go on the slide as well.

Arranging the garden gnomes. Finding my own suburban nightmares on top of a mountain is rather strange.

Not enough people for the bumper cars. These were the only two cars going. Rather boring like that.

What a view!

  • The small child inside me would like to go to that slide as well 🙂

PS: I like very much the second photo in this series, there is a no time feeling in it, just my idea maybe…

You had a nice birthday, no? I like the atmosphere of 1, 3, 9 and 14. 11 makes me wonder what was behind you, a slide, a toy-shop, an ice cream dealer?

You’ve used your new scanner? Did you also use silver fast? I’m thinking of trying that software.

    …and more analog, please.

Yes, I had a very nice birthday! And I’m glad that you like the pictures!

Yes, I used the new scanner for these and also Silverfast. It’s actually a really good piece of software even though its design is a nightmare for any mac user. I like that one can have different settings for each frame in batch scan. Epson Scan was driving me nuts. The results are a lot better for me with Silverfast. Lots of analog stuff on the backburner. I will post some more soon 🙂
