On one of my last days in Berlin before traveling to Düsseldorf I decided to walk through Mitte to get even more of a tourist perspective on Berlin, on the way dropping into Fotoimpex – the local place where I buy equipment and film for analog photography – and the art book store Koenigs, which also happens to have a variety of philosophy books. While outside I played with my 14mm lens as well, but more on that later.

This was really creepy. It actually looked like drying blood, but I guess it probably was only a spilled beverage.
Ah, facial expressions.
Stereotypical dog expression.
So cute!
Another one that could be called “violence among friends”.
Kids with burgers. Great eating habits in the making.
A school class on the train can be rather annoying. They make good subjects though. Most annoying people do.
Two.
I’m a little curious about what is in his hand. Since I wasn’t paying much attention at the time we’ll never know I guess.

Well, who indeed?
They were running after the tram.
Getting the adult perspective.
Good company.
Berlin in its purest expression: cranes everywhere. I guess one day they will actually have filled all the empty spaces where the Berlin wall stood in the past.
Dolphins!
Biting the bottle won’t help.
Surfer girl in Berlin or just a fashion statement? Oh, and find the polar bear in the picture! One.
Another polar bear moment. Two.
The last few days were rather busy with travelling. After a couple of weeks in Berlin and a week in the Düsseldorf area I am now back in San Sebastian and trying to catch up on my editing. There are some more pictures from Berlin, Düsseldorf and Neuss to come as well as some analog pictures from San Sebastian. However, after all the busy weeks I had just now, I will try to relax for the next few days.
