crutch dance

This is the view from my desk actually. Next door mainly houses doctor’s offices and so we get quite a few people walking into our courtyard. These two guys didn’t seem related to that though, since they were standing next to the wrong entrance. That both of them would have crutches sure struck me as odd. They were obviously bored and poking the snow drifts with their crutches. Taken with my Canon EOS 450D and my Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6.

I found these two interesting, because it almost seemed like they were from a different time.

Having a chat on the street seems like an odd thing to do in the cold Berlin winter.

The last two were also taken with my Canon, but with my Canon EF 35mm f/2.0.

After editing pictures in the morning I yesterday felt like having a break. I sat down and watched some Battlestar Galactica, put my feet up and for a while I thought I wouldn’t do anything else for the rest of the day. Finally I managed to start drawing though and got about 1 1/2 hours in before my friend Damien came over for a coffee. Somehow I was off my game though. I had little patience for the contour drawings and somehow couldn’t get the gesture drawings right. As always there are good days and bad days, in whatever you do.

At some point during the day my washing machine also refused to do its job. I hope it was just a glitch. I hate dealing with stupid everyday stuff like this, so a broken washing machine is the last thing I need right now.

  • What is the deal with stuff not working properly lately?! NOT cool!!! I hope that machine’s attitude improves quickly for you!
