These days every morning seems surpass the previous one in greyness. Oh yes, it’s ugly out there: dark, cold, windy, rainy and it certainly isn’t any fun to go out and shoot in this kind of weather. Besides, it’s also pointless since everyone is just rushing to get out of the cold! The weather forecast promises more of this lovely weather, like every January. And like every January I complain about all of it, all the time! I’m not a fan of winter, and even less so when it doesn’t involve snow. Snow at least is photogenic. Rain is not.
Also like every January there is a city festival to break up the monotony of rain and gloom, but this time we will choose to escape on a little trip to get away from the 3am marching band tunes and 24h drumming. After experiencing this festival last year – 24h of marching tunes without escape – I doubt I want to experience it ever again. At least it gives us a good reason to go on a little trip. Fingers crossed that the weather also improves!
