It’s been a very hot day, but I walked into town anyway to see whether I could shoot a few rolls. With the Leica I shot a roll of Fomapan 400 and the penultimate roll of E6 film I have left. Strange to be shooting film with the Leica that forces me to meter properly! And then after I finished the roll of E6 I continued with Portra 400 in the Rollei, which now leaves me with only 4 rolls of C41 film to shoot before I can embark on developing the last 10 rolls of Argentina pictures. There are also only one more roll of E6 and a roll of Vision 3 cine film to shoot to finally be able to develop another bunch of rolls that I’m rather eager to see. I’ve been exceptionally patient, waiting more than half a year for the E6 rolls and several months for the Argentina pictures. They say film makes you patient, but it’s not true. It just makes you grind your teeth and pretend to be more patient while you have to wait anyway! At least it’s a great feeling when you finally get to see the pictures.
Generally I’ve made quite a bit of progress the last few days. I’ve developed most of the film now apart from 2 tanks, one tank of C41 and one tank of bw. I also edited the pictures from the last batch of Argentina rolls and now have plenty of colour stuff to show you. And then there was even a bit of shooting too!
All pictures taken with: Leica M6, Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.
dm Paradies 400 developed in Fuji Hunt C41 Kit, Jobo CPE-2.
No idea what’s really going on here, but my guess is a neck ache …! Definitely love this one!
Riding together.
Nice scenery for a run.
Normally I avoid mobiles, but only it they don’t facilitate visible interaction.
Another one of my favourites! And that odd looking tree in the background!
Golden hour in a rather pricey neighbourhood. I don’t get it. I much prefer the neighbourhoods with quiet streets and low old houses.
Quite a nice view.
The light was going, so I was pushing my luck. Here with success.
It was already getting quite dark, but the sky was still helping me out a bit.
I like this one for some reason.
Not sure whether this is slightly missed focus or shake. I like it anyway.
