grrr

I don’t have much time to edit pictures these days, so I’ll show you some stuff from the archives instead. Since these were taken quite a while back I really can’t remember the circumstances. They are so old that they were even taken with my Canon DSLR which I haven’t used for street photography in ages.

All pictures taken with: Canon EOS 450D and Canon Ef 35mm f/2.0.

Lawrence Durrell told that poems are like watercolors; they no to be let drying time enough.
If you apply that to photographs (you can), the decisive moment is not when you take them but when they are dry

I definitely agree. All my stuff usually sits on a shelf or in a drawer for a while until I get around to editing them. This time usually helps to get emotionally disconnected and judge the pictures as they are and not how they should have been. And then there is this old stuff that I haven’t gotten around to posting at all yet, because I shoot more than I can show.

Cartier-Bresson shot maybe about half a million negatives.
Are one, five five hundreds. Maybe one thousand known?
    Same with any great photographer.
Well, Belloq destroyed must of his work. But that’s not the rule
