Most of these pictures were taken when it was already getting dark. The autofocus on my Olympus E-PL3 is rather useless in low light and sadly neither the body nor the lens have any focussing scales. Hoping for the best with an inaccurate AF is definitely annoying and I much prefer zone focussing. With this gear AF is the best I can do though. Funny that I get more predictable results with my film cameras.
All pictures taken with: Olympus Pen E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 ASPH.
On the left buddhist monks, on the right a bride with the her bachelorette party gang. Opposite goals I guess …
I didn’t stay to see how she was getting on with that tyre. I would have been useless at changing it myself.
Damn you, autofocus!
Already just as bad as the adults …
This little girl was constantly climbing the railing and her parents were rather busy trying to prevent her from falling into the channel.
Another bachelorette party on a boat.
And another one close by … a lot of people seemed to be getting married that weekend.
