What does it mean to be on holiday for someone who does only the things she likes for work? Should I forbid myself to take pictures? Should I stop reading altogether? Probably not. I guess I will just try to take it easy and do whatever I like without forcing myself to do too much. I will also at times leave the camera at home and not get obsessed about the pictures I miss. And since I love shooting film I will probably also leave the digital camera on the shelf.
If I don’t really feel like slowing down, why do I take a holiday then? Well, I haven’t taken a break in over half a year and it has been exceptionally stressful with lots of travel, the exhibition and a big international move. Stress isn’t good for anyone (and for me it’s especially bad), so I just have to take a break now. Maybe it will even give me some new inspiration!

This one I find somewhat creepy. Whose hand is this?! The boy doesn’t look like it is his. I guess it must be though.

Normally you see adults from a children’s perspective in my pictures since I shoot from the hip. Here I am at mouse level.
