Yesterday the movers took away all the boxes and furniture, and the move is now almost done. There are only a few more finishing touches to be done in the flat and tomorrow we fly back to Spain. I can’t wait for this to be over. I’ve accumulated so much tiredness over the last month that ironically I can’t sleep properly anymore. Organising the move, selling all the furniture that we couldn’t take, packing all the boxes, cleaning the flat, it all takes its toll, especially in this unbearable heat. Berlin used to be a swamp and with all the little canals it still feels like one in summer. I’m looking forward to more reasonable temperatures in San Sebastian as well as some well-deserved rest.
All this work and effort will be worth it though: I won’t have to be travelling back and forth anymore, I will have all my belongings in one place and will be living in a much nicer neighbourhood in a city at the sea with more reasonable temperatures both in summer and winter. And thanks to being based in one rather than two places I can make commitments over longer periods of time which will help me with all my photography related endeavours.

Apparently this guy is bored with … legs?
When I was little I always hated it when adults did that to me.
