Today I’m posting some more pictures from Düsseldorf taken last week. My stay here is almost at an end now and I will be traveling back to Spain on Tuesday. It’s been an exciting journey filled with friends, photography and exhibitions – my own exhibition most importantly. After all this excitement I’m actually looking forward to some quiet days and a bit of an opportunity to unwind.
All pictures taken with: Olympus Pen E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 ASPH.
Interesting fact: I only saw the crashed car when I looked at the picture on the screen. Talk about selective perception! I guess I paid too much attention to the people.
I rarely ever take street portraits, but in this case I got a spontaneous request. From left to right: Albo Ronaldo, Waseem Mustapha, Dardan Sopjani, Niklas Stump and Furkan Almanci. Thanks for posing, guys!
Later I ran into them again, so I took the opportunity to take some candid shots as well.
That’s quite a bit of luggage for that bike!
This place used to lie on my way to work. Hasn’t changed much in the last 10 years.
Look, she’s taller than her dad!
Teaching the daughter to ride a bike!
Windy moment. Take note also of the hair of the woman in the background on the right.
In front of the public library. Not sure whether this is an inspiration for reading. To me maybe, but I guess it would creep out a lot of people. Sadly I couldn’t find out who the artist is.
Wrong country.
I actually caught a guy changing his shoes right in the moment when he had two different ones on his feet. And the dog is such a weirdo too!
Cat and dog.
busy as a beaver…
very true …!
