Before leaving Berlin I went on a last little photo walk in the neighbourhood that I will be leaving for good soon. Although it might be not the nicest place to live, it occasionally allows for decent enough street pictures. Still, not a major loss to be leaving, on the contrary.
All pictures taken with: Olympus Pen E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 ASPH.
I better keep my immediate associations when I look at this picture to myself.
I like the “Bad Flights” in the background. No idea what the message is there. After all, the airport might be close, but still in an entirely different neighbourhood.
Did the little girl want to stop, I wonder?
I just can’t figure out where the flowers are coming from. Out of the bag maybe?
These two were really odd. Both sported a strange partner that made them look like twins, but obviously they belong to different generations. They were also holding hands while walking.
The guy in the background has a tattoo of the name of a band that is usually associated with right wing skin head culture.
Carrying an invisible glass pane?
One of the streets was closed, because some building works seemed to have caused some flooding that necessitated about 5 fire engines to come and sort it out. Normally much less people are waiting for the bus here, so I assume the crowd had to do with buses not running properly as a result of the emergency.
Aww, this is so sweet that it almost makes my teeth hurt!
Nice arc of suspense.
The eleventh image: Taken really by chance? It reminds me of ‘Pulp Fiction’ (Maybe because the guy in the leather coat looks like Travolta).
And I like the patterns of movement and architecture in the ninth (even with the weird tattoo).
