The most interesting aspect of having quite a bit of time on your hands is that you can explore without feeling guilty. Although the last year also had quite a few disappointments in store for me I also managed to do quite a lot of great things! I got back into photography, I graduated with a distinction and I wrote a novel. That’s quite a few things off my bucket list. As usual one thing leads to the next and before you know it you are doing something you didn’t expect at all. In the same spirit I have now started learning to draw and I also added another blog to document my journey. Head on over to experiments in drawing, if you are interested. Just a warning beforehand … I’m not really any good yet, so don’t expect much apart from some sketches and exercises.

Yesterday I edited the pictures from Thursday and was happy to find quite a few interesting ones. This one was taken at the station Gesundbrunnen after coming back from the museum. What I like about this picture is that the man running seems to be merging with the man on the billboard. What a lucky coincidence, you can’t plan this kind of thing.

  • The action here is great. I like the PP too. Lucky shot or not, it works really well.

Oh wow, this is another very cool image…love the sense of movement!

  • Serendipity!
Well, that and a a good eye, Ms. S… even if you weren’t planning out every detail it seems like you must have been ‘ready’ for it on some level… nice!
    🙂

  • Brava! One of your best images. And it demonstrates, once again the need to work hard to get good results. A coincidence? Yes, but you were in the place with a camera in your hands ready to catch the scene. Again, brava!
