One of my many interests is music. The guitar in the picture is actually my brother’s guitar. He gave up playing, when I was a teenager and so he gave it to me, when I wanted to take playing up myself. However, after maybe a year I realised that I wasn’t getting anywhere with it. I just wasn’t inspired and started to get more interested in electronic music. In the end I gave it up as well. However, I think I might actually take it up again soon, since I’ll be endeavouring to get back into making music. Now that the first draft of my novel is finished, it’s the next item on the list of things I would like to give a try.
By the way, I’m not quite happy with the crop here. If only I had half a centimetre more at the top!
When you decide to re-start, please visit my blog. I’m posting video guitar licks/solos and a few full songs, along with the tablature to make them easier to learn.
Like the shot here today.
Classic!
Cool photo 🙂 The grain adds, yes? I think it does. Hmm, I can remember a book and the author described how open or negative space can become in itself a compositional element– let’s say a sky or wall. Then my mind wondered about “minimalist photography,” if there is such a thing. So then, I took this picture of an old radiator on Saturday, not the entire thing but part of the thing…
