Around Berlin there is actually quite a lot of moorland, because of the many rivers and canals. They cut through Berlin everywhere, so it’s rather unsurprising that the Panke is running rather close to my house. If you follow it in the direction of Pankow you come to this little stretch of moorland, which lies right across from some allotments. In this picture I especially like the juxtaposition of nature and urban structures with graffiti. Whoever sprayed there probably got some wet feet in the process.
