You might have noticed that I travel a lot. Would you be surprised if I tell you that I don’t particularly enjoy the actual travel at all? I like going to places and seeing new things, but planes, trains and buses actually make my skin crawl! Usually it’s a trade-off though and hopefully what you gain evens out all the travel annoyance.
Today we had a particularly annoying train journey. It was incredibly uncomfortable, way too early and on top of things there was a technical fault and we were delayed an hour. In total 6 hours of travel! However, Barcelona immediately made up for it. In one afternoon I shot 2 1/2 rolls and we went to see the Sagrada Familia already! What a building! It was really interesting to see what it does to you. When you come in there it at first seems completely alien, but after spending some time there it becomes more and more natural. In fact, it becomes literally natural, since all the elements were inspired by nature and before long you feel like you’re in a stone forest. Very impressive! Already this made the journey worthwhile. And we still have 2 more days to explore more!
