I stumbled out of bed way too early this morning, and before I was even half awake I started loading my Rollei, because there was fog outside! I was out of the door a couple minutes later and walked over to the woods. I’m not a morning person at all and need about an hour + a cup of tea to wake up, so I was shooting on autopilot. I just couldn’t resist though! And now I’m very curious about the results.
Today I’m showing you some pictures from a trip last year. I hadn’t yet figured out the right recipe to develop Tri-X in Caffenol, so these were very dense and difficult to scan. For me Tri-X works a lot better when semi-stand developing it for 35 minutes with 3 inversions after 1min, 5min and 15min. Nevertheless, even though these were difficult I think they still turned out nicely.
All pictures taken with: Olympus XA, F.Zuiko 35mm f/2.8.

I can’t resist twins and I love the motion the XA brought in here.

My black and white spidey senses were tingling.

Strange and slightly futuristic way to cross the river.

The neighbourhood up there was slightly too spooky for us.

Another one for the black and white spidey senses.
First time I see crossing a river in such a way…
