let’s get out of here © Lilly Schwartz 2012
Yesterday around 10 past 11 at night I rushed to the shop to get some gummibears. Yes, I’m that addicted. Half past 11 the shop closes, so I had no time to stop, although I saw a view worthy of a shot. “Ah, I just take it on the way back!” I thought to myself. Well, on the way back I pulled the camera out of the bag with some difficulty since I stacked my shopping on top of it, only to realise that there was no card in the camera. “Oh well, I just take my spare card!” This meant searching for my keys – the card case is attached to it. After some 5 minutes of digging in my bag I finally found it … only to realise that the spare card was at home. Well, how silly is that? So, in the end I didn’t take any pictures yesterday after all. Instead I post a picture from the day before that I edited yesterday. I like the tension in the shot, as if everyone is just running to get out of the station as fast as possible. Sure, it was hot in the subway, but it wasn’t that bad really and it was raining outside! What’s the rush?
the folks do look hurried!
Then I’ve done my job 😉 Thanks for stopping by David!
Great post! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! And thanks for stopping by 🙂
Lilly, very good picture, very interesting.
I have a question, you are in the former DDR Berlin? Well there are a plastic artist friends who go to an exhibition of Thacheles.
Will take one of my photographs to exhibit there.
Thanks for being so kind with me always.

Thanks Cruz!
Actually I’m in the former West Berlin. However, I live still quite close to the city centre, so Tacheles isn’t very far from me on public transport. Cool that your friends take one of your photographs there! Actually I’ve never been to the Tacheles, but I always wanted to check it out. Do your friends live in Berlin? I’m always interested in meeting new people, especially artists.

Lilly Thanks, nice to have your answer. My female friends are from Argentina and travel to that special event. They are a group of plastic art.
I think they are traveling in August, would be good to know them, they are very nice.

Hola Carlos. I’m not sure I’m going to be here in August, but in case I am … what’s the event? There is always so much going on in Berlin, it’s hard to keep track!
