What?! Three days in a row I actually went out of the house? Surprising!
There was some nice weather still and since I had to go back to my Apple Service Provider to get my Airport Express base station back, we then walked around the area a bit towards Bahnhof Zoo. Just before reaching Zoo I took this picture of the Amerika Haus, which used to be part of the US embassy and was founded as a “centre for information” (i.e. propaganda) after the war. During the Vietnam war it was focus of student protests and became a symbol of the “imperialist US”. It was returned to the city of Berlin in 2006 and its future is unclear.
Very cool!
Thanks 🙂
