This shot might not look profound to you, but I have to say that I’ve been looking forward to taking this picture for a few days already. I was waiting for a day when no real inspiration would hit me and then I could finally take a picture with some colour in it, namely a picture of a clementine that I just had lying around for a few days. Don’t get me wrong, I love black and white, but every now and then it’s good to have something bright and colourful to look at too.

After weeks of feeling a bit depressed and without motivation I’m finally getting out of the slump. Not sure what prompted it, but whatever it was, it resulted in a change of attitude and suddenly I feel eager to do things again. I read, listen to wonderful tango music and take a few pictures too, although with that I’m still feeling limited by the cold weather and my own habits of only walking the city at night. However, I’m sure that this part of my life will get better too. It’s just a matter of time.
