thumbs up

Roll number 3 with my new Nokton 1.1 has a shot that completely convinced me of the lens. Yes, it can be hard to focus. It’s also big, intimidating and heavy, and yes, things get a little crazy swirly sometimes. When it works, it has so much character though! The strange thing is also that I got this lens primarily for night photography, but so far I have used it with slow film during the day half the time! Before I had this lens I didn’t really have much use for slow films, but I think there will be much more of it used this year.

Oh by the way, in case you’re waiting to see results, the roll I’m showing you today is from last year April when we were in Argentina. Also the black and white stuff I’m posting these days is from half a year ago. Therefore, it will still take a while until I get to some more recent rolls. I have given up trying to be “up to date” and actually enjoy having some distance between me and the pictures I post.

I’m not sure I noticed it at the time … but the same red dot was hidden under electrical tape on my camera. I still have it taped by the way.
