curiosity comes in dots

Did I mention that I’m not a morning person? I’m sure I did, since I’ve been getting up way too early for the last 3 weeks. So, this morning, after I met my self-imposed deadline yesterday and after a week of early starts I decided to take it easy and just read in bed after sleeping in. Later I scanned some film, emptied my hard-drive a bit, edited pictures, prepared the exhausted C41 developer for disposal and watched a movie. It was still a full day and I did a lot of stuff, but it felt much better to be doing it all at my own pace without having to be places and running behind on everything. I’m sure looking forward to getting back into this rhythm after my course finishes.

Today I’m going to show you some shots taken on XP2. I finished a whole 100ft roll of this stuff and have hardly seen any of the results yet. When I look at this roll then I can conclude that it’s really rather nice at box-speed developed in Rodinal. Other attempts didn’t turn out this nicely mainly because I wasn’t metering properly and it seems to need that. More to come!

All pictures taken with: Olympus XA, F.Zuiko 35mm f/2.8.
XP2 stand-developed in Rodinal 1:100, 60min.

Looking into strange cars … I think I used to do that too when I was little!

It was quite gloomy that day, so I was focussing mostly on backdrops.

I have this thing for photographing strange doors. I don’t know why …

Autumn was going strong.

I could imagine sitting there reading a book, but sadly it’s too far from our house. And these days the book would get wet in all likelihood.
