I’m glad that I have already shot more than 20 rolls of film on this trip, since the temperatures are now getting really awful to be out shooting. -5°C are quite uncomfortable especially with a metal camera. Nancy, my Leica M6, is doing its job despite the weather – something that can’t be said about my Zorki which starts eating film with temperatures below 5°C – but it’s not exactly fun to be out in this weather at all. Today, despite walking around with a bunch of friends who also had cameras we quickly decided to drink some tea in a café where it was a lot warmer. I think I won’t be shooting that much more, because it’s actually supposed to get colder rather than warmer. I was hoping to do some urbex with my friend Almut, but it might actually be too cold to be walking around in abandoned factories. Back home it’s 15°C warmer.

As promised today some more shots from the Frankfurt book fair where I shot a whole lot of cosplayers. There is still one more roll of colour film with pictures from that day, but I haven’t scanned it yet.

All pictures taken with: Olympus XA, F.Zuiko 35mm f/2.8.

I was walking around with the young lady with the top hat for a while. She stopped to hug everyone.

I especially like the tail of the girl on the right.

Then I ran into this! Lots of boys in cape and underwear … and a cat lady in the background.
