I am slowly but surely getting through all the rolls I have to develop. Of my 17 rolls of my last trip I only have 4 left and then there are only a few rolls left that I shot around here. I’ve developed most of the Rollei RPX400 so far in Rodinal at 70 minutes with slow inversions which seemed to work fine. However, I think I will probably develop the rest of it – maybe 10 rolls – in Caffenol-CL, since I still suspect that RPX is Kentmere 400. So far I have liked the tonality of K400 best in Caffenol and I also see it as good practice. I definitely want to use Caffenol more often now and even got myself a very good digital scale so as to make the mixing a bit less of a guessing game.

Now I only have to kick myself to actually start scanning all those rolls that I developed. It’s obviously the least enjoyable part of the whole analog photography business. I promise I’ll do it soon and show you some of the stuff I shot. For now some more digital pictures.

  • They are all excellent but the last one steals my heart, though not like Berlo’s infamous “Ruby the Heart-Stealer” !
