These pictures were taken while running errands in Düsseldorf. Over the next few days you will see more pictures from the Düsseldorf area, because it’s always easier to shoot while travelling. That’s probably why there is a large subset of street photographers who hardly ever shoot where they live. I’m obviously not one of them, but I definitely understand why this is easier for some people. Shooting in a place that you know too well can become rather monotonous and boring. Good to mix things up every now and then.
All pictures taken with: Olympus Pen E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 ASPH.
She doesn’t seem to want to see the graffiti.
Ice cream weather.
Missing heads and torsos.
Men with cigars are a rather uncommon sight in Düsseldorf.
Is it me or does this look like the 80s?
I guess the woman is looking at another mobile phone.
Self-portrait.
Couldn’t figure out what amused them so much, but they couldn’t stop laughing.
The kid noticed me, I guess!
Wrong city.
Blah blah blah?
I tend to take pictures of obstacles.
For some reason this is my favourite one of the series. Not very narrative, but definitely pretty.
Tourists pointing at things.
Mobile phone dance steps?
The Düsseldorf subway is way too dark to take pictures, actually. Too much noise.
I enjoyed this series thoroughly; thank you.
Thank you Subroto 🙂 Glad you liked them!
