All pictures taken with: Olympus Pen E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 ASPH.

These were taken when I was in my hometown at the end of November taking pictures for my Memory project. I took a ton of pictures in that time and quite a number of them just my regular street stuff that had nothing to do with the project. The first picture I’m posting today already made the journey a success and that one happened on the first day. You can imagine how pleased I was, although I was freezing my fingers off! Hopefully those cold days in my hometown were the last of those temperatures I will encounter this winter. Film tends to rip, fingers tend to go numb and mittens are definitely not the way to go when handling a fully manual camera. The temperatures here in Spain are much more reasonable, always somewhere between 15-20°C.

Over the next couple of months I will edit the 13 rolls of film I shot for the project and hopefully I’ll have something to show for my efforts. A quick look while scanning already showed some good results, so I’m optimistic. On the first pass I’ll just edit the street photography stuff though, so it might still take a while until I post something related to the project and of course I will keep taking pictures here in San Sebastian as well.
