The roll I’m showing you today happened when I took a friend up the next hill to show her the view. I always go up there when I need to get the experience of a proper forest and not just a park. I go there way too rarely, because the hill is a bit of a challenge for me sometimes. Right now I probably wouldn’t make it up there. You know, that flu of mine kicked me hard. It’s definitely a nasty one and for weeks I was barely able to get up without feeling dizzy. Today finally we managed to dance some tango though, but it was still really at the limit for me. It probably will be a while until I’m back to normal. No hills for me anytime soon!

And just as I was thinking that I wouldn’t be making an effort to shoot more black and white this week I actually saw a pretty amazing example of Caffenol chops developing the roll in a rather cold CCL mix – only 14°C! I definitely need to try this, so I will have to shoot another roll of Double-X soon! And now I’m planning to shoot although I didn’t even manage to develop any film today yet. I guess that’s how it goes with trigger-happy people like me.

All pictures taken with: Rolleicord V, Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 75mm f/3.5.
