vamos

Lately I’ve finished two big chunks of work that have kept me busy for months. One of them was to develop and edit all the film I had shot in Argentina in April and the other was a substantial bit of work for the university which was rather difficult due to adverse circumstances with my health. I’m rather proud of myself for having finished both now and I can move on to new challenges. Right now I’m using the same adverse circumstances that force me to photograph less to advance on my goal of finally learning Russian, which is both important for my university work as well as my photographic goals. Although I can still only say rather simple things, I am making rather good progress. I already know the printed and handwritten alphabet well and I’m making progress with the basic grammar too. Since it’s the 4th language I’m attempting to learn (only my Italian is a bit rusty, the other two languages I actually use daily) I now know quite well how to go about the learning process and I’m trying a slightly new approach to speed things up a little. I’m curious to see how far I can get in the next few months and I’m sure I’ll be talking about my progress every now and then too.
