thirtythree

The other day I already showed you another series from my home town. Like many East German towns it suffered a lot when the reunification came and maybe even a little more than others because it used to be a very industrial. A lot of factories were closed and now still stand abandoned even in the middle of town. The factory I’m showing you today is just across from the bus terminal and hardly a 5 minute walk from the train station, so in a prime location. Right now it is being rebuilt and will become the new university library. I can imagine that it might possibly become a rather nice place for the students to work, if they don’t screw it up entirely. Since they are already building on the site I couldn’t get any closer shots and had to work around fences again. Nevertheless it’s good that I managed to get some shots as a record of how it looked until now.

All pictures taken with: Leica M6, Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.
