there and back again

As always, if you have questions, objections, worries or praise, and especially if you found your picture and want it removed, feel free to contact me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also read my full disclaimer, if you are interested.

Let’s make this a bit more efficient and combine the three rolls I shot at airports and on planes last time travelling to and from San Sebastian. After all, airports are incredibly boring places and one aerial shot looks much like the next.

All pictures taken with: Zorki 4K and Jupiter 12 35mm f/2.8.
First roll: Ilford HP5+ developed in Tetenal Ultrafin 1:19 for 13 min.

On the way back to Berlin waiting for boarding in Bilbao. Nope, I don’t like travelling either.

Ah, there is one. Wrong direction though.

The first take off. That day I had three of them. It was the time I got stranded at the wrong airport for a few hours.

Breaking through the clouds.

The rest: Ilford HP5+ EI 3200, semi-stand-developed (!!!) for 150 minutes (!?!) in Rodinal 1:100. Lousy first attempt at pushing film. There were some very creative highlights in the brighter frames. That’s how I learned not to over-agitate when pushing film.

Waiting for boarding in Düsseldorf to fly on to Berlin. Very dark airport.

Grain like gravel. Well, that’s to be expected at ISO 3200.

Above Düsseldorf. I guess I had a bit of a shake in one hand. Camera shake in only a part of the picture is so odd …

Last one. The rest of the roll is blobs of white on black ground. Not very interesting.
