After a few days of “fun” with my health I finally managed to get some shooting done down at the beach. I hacked a couple of Kodak Gold 200 rolls to register as ISO 400 in the Canon SureShot WP-1 to cope with the slightly strange weather and we took our usual stroll along the beach. It was a little less crowded than usually – it’s probably going towards the end of the season now -, but it’s still very hot these days. We better use the beach weather while it lasts now!

I’ve also been editing a few more Argentina pictures and I’m actually very happy with the Kodak Portra 400 I was shooting in medium format. It’s not easy to colour correct, but when it works it’s brilliant. One thing is certain though, I definitely won’t be combining it with Fuji consumer film again, they really don’t go well together at all. But then, I don’t have any Fuji stuff left anyway, which makes this a non-issue.
