summer

As always, if you have questions, objections, worries or praise, and especially if you found your picture and want it removed, feel free to contact me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also read my full disclaimer, if you are interested.

The other day I already updated my portfolio page and now I’ve also taken the time to update my projects a little. There is a new project of self-portraits on film which is something I’ve been doing for a while already. I post them every now and then in regular posts and they just happen while I do other things. I guess they are a side-effect of having beautiful cameras to show off. By now I’ve collected quite a few and I thought I give them a bit more visibility. This is not the only update though and I suggest you look through the projects to see what’s new. The only project that hasn’t seen any updates is Progress through Demolition, although one day I should really take the time to re-scan the pictures.

With all these changes on the website I hope to have made it a bit easier to get an overview of my work for new visitors. Before the changes it was all a bit hard to navigate and especially the portfolio gallery had some unacceptable loading times. It should all be a little more convenient now and look a little cleaner. Also, the update reflects a bit more what I’m doing now rather than focus too much on previous projects. In the last year I moved to a new town, started shooting film exclusively, got plenty of new gear and also began experimenting with colour. It took a while to get comfortable with all these changes, but by now I have found a bit more coherence again and started seeing some progress. What better way to celebrate this than by reflecting those changes in my portfolio?

All pictures taken with: Leica M6, Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.

Nothing quite like a sprinkler to cool down! It was very hot.

Among the many things that I didn’t know I missed is stick bread. Summer evenings and stick bread were the best when I was little.

The socks of the guy on the left are hilariously silly. And the kid didn’t seem too happy.
