Rain, thunderstorms, yesterday some hail, ah, how I love the winters here! At least I get a chance to catch up a little after amassing quite a few rolls to be developed. I mixed a new batch of C41 chemicals today and already developed a couple of rolls in them. Although I don’t really mind the C41 development, I still prefer developing bw. It’s just much less of a hassle to be able to work at room temperature. One of the rolls I actually didn’t cut after drying, but instead reverse-rolled it into a canister. I’ll keep it to be scanned once I have my Pakon, because it’s supposedly much better at colour correcting the scans. So far the Pakon is still at customs though and I have to wait.

Tomorrow begins another week of early starts. It’s the last week of the course, but since I’ll be traveling the following week I probably won’t get too much sleep either until I return. I can’t wait for this frantic period to be over!

When the sun is shining it’s actually quite pretty around here.
