rainy season

As always, if you have questions, objections, worries or praise, and especially if you found your picture and want it removed, feel free to contact me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also read my full disclaimer, if you are interested.

There were two reasons why I got myself the Pakon. First of all, lately I’ve been shooting quite a bit of colour film and correcting the colours was giving me quite a bit of a headache. The Pakon software does a pretty great job at colour correcting consumer films and that’s precisely the stuff I shoot most. The most important reason was the speed of the scanner though, because it can actually scan a whole roll of 35mm film in 3-5 minutes, which makes it also worthwhile for black and white. I think considering that this roll was a difficult one – quite underdeveloped in the shadows but dense in the highlights – it did alright. I’m curious how it’ll do on a roll that was developed properly.

All pictures taken with: Leica M6 + Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.
Kentmere 400 @1600 stand-developed in Caffenol-CL, 90min.

Now, if that doesn’t attract the tourists …!

Not quite the kind of fur coats one sees around here!

Rain might be photogenic, but it’s extremely annoying nonetheless!

  • Most of time I do not like so much tilted photos, even if I do it a lot 🙂 but in this case, the first picture works very well giving a sense of a kind of uncertainty, great shot! I can feel the wet cold weather and the desire to escape in a dry place…
So this is Nancy! Wow! Congrats.
