Nick Cave in Barcelona

It was almost a little funny how badly my newest incarnation of Robo the robotic agitator failed today. I had changed something in the design just prior to testing and rushed the coding a bit. It went a little berserk when I actually had film in the tank. Luckily it wasn’t all that bad and the bigger worry was actually that I forgot to add some potassium bromide to my Caffenol-CH. In the end the pictures turned out fine though and hopefully Robo will be a little more sane now after I have fixed the problem. Lesson learned: I’ll test it with water in the tank and without film next.

And now for the concert pictures from the Nick Cave concert in Barcelona. I only took these pictures while I was actually enjoying the concert. I have given up taking concert pictures a long time ago when I realised that it removes me from the experience too much. I prefer to enjoy concerts rather than spend my time primarily taking pictures. When we were really close I was actually out of film and missed a couple of picture opportunities. I wasn’t bothered though, because I was *there*.

All pictures taken with: Leica M6 + Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.

I didn’t count how many times he said “Put away the mobile phone …”! More than 5 times at least.
