Did I mention that I like it here? Somehow around here things fall into place just like that, effortlessly. To give you an example: Today we went to the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and without really anything specific in mind. We wanted to maybe look at the photography section of the collection, but just wandered around a little bit. And just like that we found ourselves in an exhibition of the painter Eugenio Cuttica, more specifically a guided tour by the artist himself which just happened to be starting when we were in the bookshop in the next room. Talk about good timing!

Now, between all the magic, the tango, all the lovely bookshops, the upside down moon, the things that aren’t what they seem to be, the shops open 25h (sic! That’s what the sign says!) and the rather insulting birds that call everyone “bicho feo” (which basically means “ugly creature”), I sometimes get confused. This place just can’t be for real, right? In any case, I love it!

40 rolls down, 10 to go! It’s the final week of our journey and we’re not running out of things to do. And even in this neighbourhood we still keep finding things that we somehow missed on our wanderings so far. Today for example we found a charming square full of trees right next to a church, a playground and several very nice looking bars. And last night we went to a charming little milonga just a few blocks from here with a live orchestra playing. This city is never-ending!
