goodbye

With summer in full swing I don’t really have any excuses and try to shoot every day. I’m also developing colour film and it’s much faster to heat up the chemicals, in part because the water comes out of the tap 10°C hotter than in winter. I still don’t get consistently even development with the C41 chemicals though, but the problem is much less pronounced now. I hope I can solve the problem soon or at least figure out where in the tank a roll is less likely to have this problem of unevenness. I also suspect that this problem might be due to the spools I’m using, because the problem doesn’t occur in every frame, but I’m generally not quite sure what to do about it apart from giving up on the Fuji chemicals altogether. Luckily most of the important colour rolls don’t have a lot of sky, but it still annoys me.
