goal

Occasionally the leader of bulk loaded film tears in the Leica at the beginning of the roll and I might end up shooting a roll of ghost pictures into oblivion before I notice. Today I noticed right at the beginning of the roll and had to fashion a new leader without any scissors at hand. In the end the film was finally forwarding, but you know, it doesn’t really help to have a properly loaded camera if the streets are empty and the people boring! And the strange summery weather we’re experiencing these days – 27 degrees the other day in mid November, mad – only makes the streets seem even more deserted! Maybe a little while back I still needed a little break after all the work during the summer, but now I’m actually itching to shoot a good roll that doesn’t drag on and on for ages without anything happening at all. At least it’s only a month to go until our next big Argentina adventure. This should hopefully get me some more new material finally.

All pictures taken with: Leica M6, Zeiss ZM C-Biogon 35mm f/2.8.
dm Paradies 400 developed in Fuji Hunt C41 Kit, Jobo CPE-2.

If you’re looking for the ball, you’ll find it hitting the wall behind the goal. Decisive moment, eh?

Pretty difficult lighting. I had to sacrifice the highlights a little to get anything.

Although I usually try to avoid shooting through windows sometimes it just needs to be done. Taken from a café window.
