As always, if you have questions, objections, worries or praise, and especially if you found your picture and want it removed, feel free to contact me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also read my full disclaimer, if you are interested.

I have now all the film together for our trip to Argentina: 38 rolls of Fuji drugstore film, 2 rolls of Kodak Farbwelt (I wanted an even 40) and 10 rolls of Portra 400 for my Rollei. That should have me covered, right? As you can see, it’s all colour film. It was either shooting it all in colour or all in black and white, and I feel like Buenos Aires is more of a colour place, if that makes any sense at all? I’m actually hoping to shoot about 2 rolls a day and come back with a ton of stuff. And then it will probably take me a little eternity to develop it all! I can’t wait to see what I can make of it all!

By the way, I also just took my first ever picture with my newest toy: Fuji Instax Mini 8. It was an early birthday present from my wonderful husband. Appropriately the first ever shot was a selfie of the two of us. And I’m really happy about the image quality! This baby is going to be loads of fun!

All pictures taken with: Rolleicord V, Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 75mm f/3.5.
Rollei RPX 400 stand-developed in Caffenol-CL.

Lilly and Rolliecord – a surefire team. Love this. Mist or fog with trees is magical, and you have certainly captured the magic.

    • Thanks 🙂 yes, my Rollei and I get along very well. I sure love her a lot! And the fog was really on my side with this one!

  • Great set of pictures well suited to the square format and monochrome

    • Thanks Steve! Square and monochrome do have a special place in my heart!

  • Wonderful sequence, Lilly. I can almost smell the damp earth.

    • Thanks Richard! It was really a cold and damp morning, and there is nothing quite as lovely as the smell of a forest, even if it’s a little one like in this case.

Are these the ones you said you where going to get up early for ?

    • Yes, indeed! I actually stumbled out of bed, saw the fog and was out the door 10 minutes later. Light waits for nobody!
