asleep

The last few days have been busy and I’ve spent quite some time developing and scanning C41 film. I wanted to develop 15 rolls and finish off the first litre of my Fuji Hunt C41 chemicals. However, developing and scanning 5 rolls is maybe too much to do in one day which is why I only developed 10 rolls in the end. Yesterday I only scanned and spent some time improving the robo, my robotic agitator. The original version had one of the bigger arduino boards in it that I normally use to test and prototype things, but this wasn’t the board that was supposed to be in the final version. I replaced it with a smaller arduino nano board yesterday and got quite annoyed about the fact that I lost my soldering iron somewhere in one of my gazillion moves. At the moment everything is still connected with a breadboard which takes up much more space than the circuit normally would need. I might still add something to the design, so I will leave it in this temporary state for now and see whether it develops any further.

And after all this work today you’ll see some of the outcome, the first shots from the rolls I’ve brought back from Argentina! Of course I had to document the journey as well. It’s actually quite fitting to post some airport pictures today, since I’m travelling to Germany for an exhibition. More about this tomorrow though when my internet connection is more reliable.

Impossible not to take that picture, especially with colour film!

I had to stop for this one as well.

And well … for obvious reasons this had to be documented as well. Airports look pretty much the same everywhere, but there was already some proof that we were not in Europe anymore.
