almost

As always, if you have questions, objections, worries or praise, and especially if you found your picture and want it removed, feel free to contact me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also read my full disclaimer, if you are interested.

My current project of exploring this town with my Zorki is one of those exercises in patience. Not every neighbourhood is exciting and full of people. Nevertheless I’m trying to capture the atmosphere in these quiet neighbourhoods as well. It is different from my usual way of working and I hope it will give me new perspectives and teach me a thing or two about composition. At the moment I’m still focussing on rather quiet neighbourhoods, but I’m sure I’ll be done with them soon and then I can move on to a more lively neighbourhood.

All pictures taken with: Zorki 4K and Jupiter 12 35mm f/2.8.
Kentmere 400 developed in Tetenal Ultrafin 1:20, 16 min.

Almost …?

These people don’t think of photographers when they find a location for their bins.

I would love to live in a house like this. Probably expensive.

The cemetery is up there. The light was rather impossible, since the sun was in that direction as well. I will have to go back there early in the morning I think.

Noticed the portrait format? I only use it when I have time to compose.

They probably have a great view in these flats. Expensive as well.

Difficult exposure with all the deep shadows. Sunshine has its disadvantages.

Censorship. Well, I was too late obviously, but at least it turned out funny enough.

Didn’t catch dog number 4. Must be hiding somewhere. People around here are crazy about dogs.
